This video is a quick entry video for those who have considered viewing the Sun for astronomy. I do not go into solar viewing safety so I recommend learning all you can regarding the topic prior to attempting viewing. I show some useful tips and tricks as well as discuss various equipment that can be used for solar observation. The later part of this video is a couple simple edits you can make to a recorded image in order to bring out solar prominences. It's a very simple tutorial but very useful in cases where your exposure is off. That will happen frequently to most people due to the sheer power of our parent star. Clear skies.
