Select kinematic data
The Select kinematic data control:
- can assist you in collecting new data;
- allows selecting existing data.
New data
If there is not yet any data available, it can be collected now. Data of
interest is:
- Calibration videos
- Activity videos
- APAS 3D files (*.3d)
Capture videos
Videos can be captured for the required number of cameras. After capturing
videos, this area may look like
- The left column contains calibration videos for the indicated number of
cameras
- The right column contains activity videos for the indicated number of

APAS/Digitize module. This process will require you to digitize the
indicated control points, points, and segments:
Note that this process will automatically guide you through the following
steps:
- Digitizing of control points using the calibration videos
- Digitizing of points using the activity videos
- 3D Transformation
- Filtering using the indicated settings.
Existing data
The FileSelector can be used to select existing APAS 3D data (*.3d).
When data is available (it either has been collected or selected), it can be
reviewed in the following three tabs (Quick chart, Quick Events, and Quick
Renderer). If you notice a problem while examining the data, you can redo the
data collection or data selction process.
Kinematic tools are
available to further assist you in examining the data.
Quick chart
Kinematic data can be reviewed in the Quick Chart.
Quick Events
Quick Renderer
Kinematic data can be reviewed in the Quick
Renderer.
